Everyone knows that one person, lets just say that one person that no matter how funny, wild, interesting or fabulous your story is they always have one that can beat it and they always choose to tell it immediately after yours leaving you with the second best. This particular person is referred to as a “One Upper” and their story will be the story that sticks out in the minds of those who were present. Its not that your story wasn’t interesting or funny or really any of those things that call for a memorable story its just that the “one uppers” story was just a tad bit better.
